Ironwood Souvenirs

First thing first, I’d like to define what really an ironwood is. Iron Wood is exceptionally tough or hard wood of any of a number of ironwood trees.
First thing first, I’d like to define what really an ironwood is. Ironwood is exceptionally tough or hard wood of any of a number of ironwood trees. Not all the place have this kind of tree and I am lucky enough that our place Bucas Grande island is one among of those places that rich of this tremendously kind of tree.

In Sohoton Cove area we found a large number of this tree. But nobody can abridge any of the trees there particularly Ironwood because the area is being preserved and protected as tourism perspective. Aside from that our Government strictly prohibited lumbering that is rampant anywhere in our country today. So, as a proof this policy, I tend to use drifted Ironwood only in order not to violate the rule and also my way to conserve waste materials.

As a Souvenir maker, I usually used wood particularly ironwood as one among the means to make all of my items. I prefer to use this kind of wood because aside from its being impregnable in nature it also looks sophisticated especially if it is already coated with a varnish in an order it to become more deceptively showy or having a superficial appearance that makes it looks more appealing to my costumers.

Using this kind of wood in all of my items is not easy especially for us that there is no convenient means or facilities for production because of its being tough that is hard to form to my desired shape.
